Repetition

For this assignment, I used black and white to focus on the depth that repetition brings to the photos.

  1. These pictures are beautiful and I think you did a really good job of finding depth. The one critique I have is that for the fourth photo, I think you could have made the black at the very end of the fence stick out just as much as the other parts of it( you made the very end super bright and hard to see). But overall, amazing job!

  2. These pictures all capture a sense of recursion wonderfully. My favorite is by far the 5th photo. It almost seems like you took a photo of a fractal set or something. The repetition seems endless. The only flaw is in the fourth photo, I feel like the lighting is a bit bright. Other than that, good job.

  3. Awesome repetition photos. You did a great job incorporating so many repeating elements in your photos. At first glance, your second to last photo was not my favorite. This was because I only had a small snapshot. However, when I clicked on each photo and viewed them in a larger screen, this photo was so much more impressive. It is impressive how you managed to capture so many of the bricks repeating so many times. Although your fourth photo is a good photo, changing the brightness would make it a great photo. It was too bright for me to notice its repeating nature because it was so washed out. Again, this was super interesting photos that also captured repetition.

  4. Great photos Sami. I especially like the third photo because the texture of the wood creates more depth in the picture.
