For this portion of the project I focused completely on the error to capture the portraits. I also used black and white to tie the photos together and and more depth.

Project 3

For this part of the project, I continued working with both straight on expressions and through reelections with mirrors. I also worked with the scenery of the subject reflecting a part of the character. I branched out and worked with more models to show a wider array of characteristics and emotions.

Project Part 2

For this part of the project I continued focusing on Cortland and different expressions, but I chose more interesting placement and backgrounds, as well as framing with different objects. I also began to include the addition of mirrors into the mix. This adds a new type of framing and composition that I will expand on in the next part.

Project

For this project I worked with one subject to focus on the different expressions and emotions that can be expressed through simple focus on the face. Some are honest and subtle while others are more exaggerated and like characters. This contrast can be seen through his posture and placement in the frame.
